My giant stash of shrimps continues to linger around. So this time I tried something which can be related to East Indian style of cuisine, Bengali to be specific, because they use yogurt based curries for making seafood.

So here’s another experiment with shrimps 🙂

The recipe:

  • Heat some oil
  • Add mustard seeds and let them pop
  • Add chopped onions and saute for 10 min
  • Add ginger and garlic paste along with Italian herbs
  • Add some yogurt and boil for 7-10 min
  • Add little garam masala (or curry powder in Europe), salt and pepper
  • Add shrimps and spinach purĂ©e and continue boiling for another 3-4 min
  • Serve with steamed rice

Voila!
