25 Apr 2020 Tunisian Tunisian Tea The last country I visited before the Covid-19 crisis … was Tunisia. One the best things I liked to have in the local cafes .. is the Tunisian chai 🙂 So I had to replicate it when I got back 😀 Recipe: Heat a pot of water Add 1-2 spoons of sugar When the water is about to boil, add thin strips of Ginger and 2 spoons of black tea Turn of the heat immediately In another pot, gently break a few leaves of mint Add the tea by filtering away the loose black tea powder (personal preference to not use tea bags 🙂 ) Let the tea marinate with the mint for a few minutes Serve the tea in a glass along with a few leaves of mint Voila!
