Indian radish pancake (Muli chila)

Few days back I brought this huge radish and had no clue what to do with it. So today I decided to make a pancake out of this for breakfast 🙂

This is inspired by the pancakes my mom would make for me, as usual, I modified the recipe 😀

The recipe:

  • Blend a radish (a huge one in my case) along with a chilly, some curry leaves, garlic, ginger
  • In a bowl, add some chickpea four, turmeric, salt and dried coriander leaves
  • Add the blended radish and some water
  • Mix well
  • In a hot pan add some oil
  • Pour this mixture to make a pancake of about 1/2 cm thickness
  • Fry evenly on both sides for about 5 min each on a medium flame
  • Server with a sauce or chutney that you like
