• Kuramen Amen Ramen
Kuramen Amen Ramen
  • Kuramen Amen Ramen
If the name doesn’t make sense .. it’s fine.
I asked my friends to name this and this is what we came up with ๐Ÿ˜€
But this is a modified version of the Sichuan noodle soup that I made earlier and the thick fish noodle soup which I made last year ๐Ÿ™‚
I wanted a recipe which wasn’t meat or chicken based .. and voila ๐Ÿ˜‰
Also I think this one’s easier … maybe not from the list of ingredients ๐Ÿ˜€
Ingredients:
  • 4 Carrots
  • 2 onions
  • 4-5 cloves of garlic
  • 2 cm of ginger
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 3 strands of Spring onions
  • 1 Pok choi
  • 4-5 green sichuan pepper
  • 3-4 red sichuan pepper
  • 2 red chillies
  • 1 spoon of red chilly powder
  • 1 spoon of red chilly paste (Dragon mode activated :D)
  • 1 cm of cinnamon stick
  • 2 cloves
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 spoons of soy sauce
  • 2 spoons of sesame oil
  • 3 spoons of fish sauce
  • 2 spoons of oyster sauce
  • 2 spoons of rice wine vinegar
  • 6-7 button mushrooms
  • 1 pack of fresh udon
  • 1 boiled egg
  • 1 fried steak of fish
  • 2 spoons of cooking oil
  • 2 liters of water

Note: This will be enough soup for 6-7 people

Recipe:

  • Heat some oil
  • Add the cut ginger, garlic and onions
  • Saute for a min
  • Add the chilly powder
  • Mix well
  • Add all the spices, sauces, water and vegetables … apart from Pok Choi
  • Boil for 45 min
  • Boil the Pok Choi, Egg and Udon, separately and keep aside
  • In a bowl, place the Udon
  • Pour some filtered soup
  • Arrange the boiled egg, Pok Choi and Fried Fish steak

Voila!
