Pav Bhaji is one of the famous street foods from Mumbai and has been my favorite since a very long time.

Though the literal translation just means bread and vegetables, it’s a lot better than just that 🙂

The recipe:

  • Heat some butter
  • Add chopped onions and saute for 10 min
  • Add tomato puree and heat for another 5 min
  • Add little garam masala and “Pav Bhaji” masala (this should be hard to find outside India 😐 )
  • Add salt and pepper to taste
  • Add smashed boiled potates
  • Add chopped mushrooms and little spinach puree
  • Heat for another 5-8 min
  • Serve with bread

Voila!
