Tunisian Tea

The last country I visited before the Covid-19 crisis … was Tunisia.

Recipe:

• Heat a pot of water
• Add 1-2 spoons of sugar
• When the water is about to boil, add thin strips of Ginger and 2 spoons of black tea
• Turn of the heat immediately
• In another pot, gently break a few leaves of mint
• Add the tea by filtering away the loose black tea powder (personal preference to not use tea bags 🙂 )
• Let the tea marinate with the mint for a few minutes
• Serve the tea in a glass along with a few leaves of mint

Voila!
